- I used to say I should have been a 50s housewife because I like to cook, sew and play with kids. My wish came true when I had my baby girl. I am a full-time stay at home mom who is supported by my wonderful husband, but I’m starting to understand why our mothers and grandmothers burned their bras and flocked to offices. Staying home ain’t no piece of cake.
To all the people who tell you that when you have a child, your life will change dramatically, I say this: As soon as you’re pregnant, your life starts changing. Accept that now, and the rest will be easier.

It will be wonderful when the marriage to whom you love, no matter their race, ethnicity, or gender is no longer news! We are proud to be from the one other state that accepts that marriage is between two people also.
